About Us

Daniel and I met in Spring of 2008. After talking casually for a just a few months we knew we had a lot in common - our love for music , sports, and family. Daniel asked me to go out for our first date at an Atlanta Braves baseball game on July 1, 2008. During the night we could not stop talking, and we never really paid attention to the baseball game! After the game, we didn't want the date to end so we went to Taco Mac for wings. How perfect - baseball and wings!!

We casually dated for a couple of months but knew very soon that there was a lot more to our relationship.

We currently have a son - a CAT named Jerry, who is our love and joy! In our spare time we enjoy traveling, Georgia Tech football games, and spending time with friends and family. We feel very fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family, and can't wait to share our wedding day with you.

The Proposal

Daniel and I were vacationing Labor Day weekend 2010 at the beach in Oak Island, NC. Daniel knew we both love the water so he thought our vacation was the perfect time to propose. He was right! On September 4, 2010 we went to dinner at my favorite restaurant in Oak Island - Oak Island Restaurant. Afterwards, we went for a walk on the beach at sunset. Daniel seemed worried that so many fisherman were on the beach. I was a little confused at why he cared so much, but then realized why once we finally found a private spot. He got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. I said of course!
